Not going to debate whether or not the HRRR is a good model or not, however just posting this to show the continued trend of models increasing the snowfall as we get closer.

Why do some of these maps look so spotty. I like the smoother ones

The spottier ones are actually higher resolution so factor in much more local geography. That's why when were in range of these ones we often look at them and start to favour them over the global models.
