YXX has been reporting light snow on and off this morning:

It's called clown range for a reason.

Honestly, I don’t think anyone else is doing significantly better than that this morning. It’s a pretty marginal event so far.

Local WX update: +2˚C and drizzle now. This morning’s dusting of snow is all gone.

I spoke too soon. Campbell River is doing significantly better in the snow department.

I think how quiet it is here reflects the outcome of this event so far.

I'm curious to see EC's 11 a.m. update.

Did everyone notice the eye feature of the system off the WA coast? It could be a dry slot but those look like spiral bands to me.

Yes. Looks like another Low forming just to the NW of the main Low as well. And maybe another just west of Central Van Isle.
Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++ 8-)

Well I can see the outline of the sun through the clouds and some blue sky due west. This really speaks wonders to how fragmented this moisture field is today. Temperature profile looks ok...you just need the moisture.

Yes, it has been lame so far, but it is snowing lightly and decent sized flakes. At least it is sticking.
