Seems realistic, no?

Looks like higher hills getting 20 cm, but divide that by 2 to reflect the wet snow ratios, and divide by 2 again to factor in rain mixing in and mild ground temperature, you're looking at 5 cm of slush on higher hills.

And would you look at that - 15z HRRR snow depth output says exactly that - 2-5 cm at higher hills!

I would disagree with your assessment.

Cold rain. Looks like it's getting heaver so maybe we'll see some chunkiness soon.

Edit: looks like SFU skipped the rain phase entirely

Stats? Fresh out of those. But I win anyway. I got all the inches.

Yes, and hence why I posted this...
Bonovox wrote: Sat Dec 09, 2023 9:18 am I think places above 100-200m will get a quick 2-5cm this afternoon before it transitions back to rain.

Look, we're going to post outlandish 10:1 ratio maps whenever we have events like this or not. That's part of the fun and most people enjoy it. Maybe you don't and that's your right, but it isn't going to stop the rest of us from having some fun.
