I am pleased to report my precip type remains a mix of rain and drizzle
2025-26 season stats:

Season total: 0.5 cm and TWO traces!
Peak depth: 0.5 cm (01/07/2026)

Heavier returns on the radar looks like Langley area, the heavier precip just never reached the eastern valley. :thumbdown: and the way it looked early this morning l knew we wouldn't see much out this way. EC got it right by not issuing a snowfall warning for the eastern valley.

Right. So I guess they just issue a blanket forecast for both the lowlands and mountains now.

It is a sad state of affairs when a bunch of weather enthusiasts can do a better job. Of course there are probably internal bureaucratic issues we aren’t aware of, but still.

Respectfully disagree. Weather conditions in December and January are not an indication of how February will end up.

My joke of transitioning to +0C rain and reaching +4C by morning is no longer looking like a joke. 925mb temps must be at or slightly above freezing now. Certainly a little warmer than modeled.

Bellingham is so exposed to onshore winds from the SW that it’s probably close to being a sure bet here.
