Really like this run showing the progression next week. Zonal, turning to cold onshore flow with snow levels dropping by 100-200m every day next week with waves and waves of precip off the Gulf of Alaska; close to the surface by day 9-10 with snow down to Burnaby Mountain.

Dec 2021 repeat incoming?

Weirdly I went to Victoria for christmas that year because of the atmospheric rivers shutting down Highway one to Kelowna. Came back on Christmas day as the arctic front moved in. This year, going to Victoria for other reasons but here we are in a brutal atmospheric river, and Highway one is shut down (for now).

Too many coincidences. December 2021 repeat confirmed.
