The nicest thing about this event is that it will actually be snow before during and after with no rain mixed in. Too bad it can't stick around for long because it looks like Monday is the day it warms up and it all starts to melt
Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++ 8-)

More snow than I thought when I first glanced outside this morning. Closer to 6-7cm than what I originally thought was just a couple cm (guess my backyard is too protected). Nothing is plowed. Took me 40 mins to drive from Tsawwassen to white rock this morning when it usually takes 25.

The radar returns look weak. The heaviest snow is staying South of the border

Yep. But Models are trending towards another cold shot towards the end of Feb too. Maybe we can get above average snowfall out of this.

Started snowing just after midnight. Like Heavy said, small dry flakes but intensity has picked up now, that seemed to coincide with the wind dying right off.

Steady snow. 4 cm pavement, 5 cm garden patio, 6 cm grass. At this rate I will hit double digits. God Save the King (Euro)!

Heaviest snowfall of the day thus far.

Without measuring I'm guessing there is about 2" thus far.

Silly Nito, the curse only hits if EC issues the snowfall warning BEFORE the snow starts.

C'MON man, just enjoy it for once.

It is the weekend... long weekend at that. No need to commute to work, as you were saying the other day.

We all know the rain is coming eventually. :blah: :blah: :blah:

This is some funny looking snow. You can sweep it...I suspect this is dust.
