Poco is sometimes as bad as Pitt Meadows..and Abby..the worst areas for snow other than the coast.
Yep, I'm starting to understand it... That's it.
But we had a decent snowfall in 2019 & 2020. 25 cm in one night. This winter is a Sh*tty one.

Would make for a pretty significant event down here if it verifies. Probably 25+cm.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Wow, you are doing well! Usually I do well but so far, more outflow I guess kept the snow so fine it's been hard to gain any traction.

Flakes are now getting bigger and rates are steady so hopefully this thing will get rolling and move north over to Tyeping and Goose!

I can actually see the sun too, but the snow is still steady. Some melting and compacting now though, no increase since 11 AM, it remains 8.5 cm.

Vancouver Island often does the best with snow. I think its because the moisture is first to hit those regions. Often we warm on the Lower Mainland by the time the moisture arrives, or the outflow keeps us dry. Fun for Islanders  but sucks for us on the Mainland.

It appears as if we will top out around 13-15 cm. I hate knowing it's going to disappear by Monday; it's like knowing I'll have to say good bye to an old friend
