The odds of you moving out of here look to be slim.Rubus_Leucodermis wrote: ↑Wed Jan 17, 2024 2:33 pm It's my best snowfall since moving here, and in an El Niño winter at that. And it means I now have as streak of three consecutive winters featuring 20+ cm snowfalls.

It appears that a well timed move is the key to winning winter.

I'm at 30 cm but I only just measured for the first time now so with compaction I'm sure it was more.

Re: January 2024 Forecasts and Discussions
I'm jumping the gun and giving this winter an "A" already. Why?
Its a Strong EN
Its only just Jan 17
This is the 3rd time it has snowed here. Previous snowfall was around 8cms
We just had 4-5 days sub freezing
We had a massive snow storm after those frozen and very cold 4-5 days
It wont be changing to rain at the end or even within 24 hours

Re: January 2024 Forecasts and Discussions
Oh no. It's tapering off. The snow is moving to my SE. I'm too far NW to pick up any more, I'm afraid. Unless it moves back out from the east like some models had hinted at.
I'm going to end at 29.0 cm as a storm total with a peak depth of 27.5 cm.
As thrilled as I am with a MASSIVE overperform for this part of town, I'm now a little annoyed by how excruciatingly close I was to the psychological barrier of 30.

Can you attach a plow to the front of your lawn mower?wetcoast91 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 17, 2024 2:15 pm 35cm is in reach I think. Should I even bother shoveling?
