I'm so confused. It's above 0 because there's melt, but it's not raining, but I wouldn't call this wet snow either. It's almost ice pellety, and it accumulates.

2 for 2 traffic is a disaster so were the Knuckles tonight but good on Ovi passes Gretzky for most goals away from home not far form catching Gordie Howe either for 2nd in scoring like 6 goals away.
It's currently-1c @ the pond in south Sardis and light snow, with a breezy NE outflow continuing.

Partially because it's above freezing now, so new snow minus melt will be negative...

...but also partly because I want a beer and to not go outside again, I am ringing in today's total at 11 cm.

Following your example, I measured also, 6cm more or less because some has melted. Not a bad amount but it's the only snowfall I can remember that I didn't enjoy, too much wind so it wasn't nice to be outside and just tiny flakes until after dark. Hoping our next snow will be better.

Just measured and so far a solid 10 cm, temp at -1 and still coming down!

It looks like this. That's what accumulated since I last went out about an hour ago, but also I have lost another cm of snow to compacting and melting in the past hour. So I've gained 1 cm of slush but lost 2 cm for net -1.

It was a disappointment to me. It basically snowed at a time to make miserable evening commutes from work, and then turned to rain when we’d like to go out and enjoy it. Doesn’t even last one evening.

Yup, reminds me of our usual west coast snows where it starts snowing, Yay! then warms up, Oh, No, and is a slippery mess, Yikes! and then turns to rain, Awwww . Hoping the next systems are better.
