January 1979 was filled with a bunch of similar busts. It was a cold month with an average temp around 0c but we really failed in the snow department.

Snowing pretty decently now. Warming up though... -0.6C

Debating whether to stay up... things could get interesting if it doesn't change over.

Ok so this is one for the record books! Not in a good way. I had dispatched a few of my plow trucks really early, anticipating traffic. Well…,,, ha! Jokes on me. I sent them from Burnaby to annacis island at 2:30pm! Hoping they would arrive before any substantial accumulation…. Nope.,Finally after them being stuck on the Queensborough bridge for hours, a nice cop asked my plow guys to plow the bridge if they move the cars for them. They said yes obviously. Thank goodness the made to annacis island but….. now they are stuck in the gridlock of everyone and there dog trying to get of the island, so the can’t even get to the properties on the island that they need to plow. I guess the one good thing in all of this is that it is going to warm up in the early am so it won’t be a sheet of ice out there!
Wish me luck! :flakey: :flakey:

I remember back on the old forum you use to Abby sr. But to many disappointments seems to have soured your enthusiasm l don't blame you.
When l lived in Mission sometimes l couldn't believe the difference just 15kmh away in your area.

Still seeing a mix of rain, snow and ice pellets. Snow cover continues to melt/compact. Down to about 5-6cm now.
