It is much more cost effective. also people think it’s more environmentally friendly.

Welp not very cost effective with a gazillion vehicles stuck for hours in gridlock emitting carbon dioxide into the atmosphere so if we have another heat dome next June blame it on November 29th.

Oh that should be a riot Ms. Snowmeltingcreeks, any word if Gibsons got hammered with your predicated 25cm's? :D Sometimes our forecasts are like taking a grocery list to the supermarket in case something is forgotten.
For instance what happened to forecasted strong SW winds that were supposed to develop overnight 80kmh or something or the freezing rain that so far hasn't happened,
at least l got the bread and milk.

Yeah that was quick Abby sr. even in Chilliwack seems to be drizzle pretty much so much for snow flurries continuing till afternoon.
Oh well hopefully crews can get out and clear roads better than they are now. Expecting below 0c over night as modified Arctic returns to the valley tonight.

Heavy snow here, I guess I won’t last if it’s just a drizzle in the valley

I spoke to soon East Whack man turned back to snow here, big chunky wet flakes,
probably the cold air being dragged dowm to the surface.
I'm guessing not much warming today in the central valley tonight is going to be an ice rink with some melting out there take it easy tonight folks.

I noticed on wunderground a bunch of local stations reporting -2 now. Most were at -1 earlier. I just hope we don’t get an inversion.

No were safe there l'm assuming if temperatures are cooling at the surface were getting a return of modified Arctic air here in the central valley not an inversion set up at all no need to worry.
Also look for stronger outflow to return as early as tonight according to E.C.
