This gfs is a bit of a mess. That cutoff low messes up the blocking otherwise it would have probably been okay.

The cutoff in the NPAC? Yeah, I was hoping it would slide south into a kona low to open the door for a ridge merger.

Since the GEM's upgrade it has been pretty comparable to the GFS in verification scores.

That's the best scenario for snow and cold but not going to happen. Almost like a Knuckle sweep of the Sens, doesn't mean a cup run. :roll:
