It's like when the "smart ones" leave a concert or sports event 15 min early and doesn't notice most others did the same thing.
RE: Winter tires
ICBC discount and a 1 time $500 rebate per driver will remedy the anger.

You can have your
as long as we get back into some
around Christmas time.
Besides, it looks like the Gov't needs some time to go back to the drawing board to figure out what to do during a snowfall.

That will take 5 years and 300 million dollars of studies.

Nam is trying to throw an other punch to the road maintenance crew in time for the afternoon commute.

Eliminate bike lanes, that'll solve everything.
Eliminate cars, trucks and buses! We need a system of gondolas crisscrossing the city.
Maybe a winter tire policy? All trucks and buses carry chains regardless of where you are including in the cities.

Seriously, if something will surprise most is this one. No one is putting much stock in this one. We will see I guess, UKMET was pretty bullish on this system yesterday and it's actually quite cold.

That's not an investment this city should make. Imo the answer to much of our congestion is WORK FROM HOME. But that's political somehow so I digress
Anyways,
Snow.

Fun fact for those keeping snow totals: If you have recorded more than 14.6 cm in your backyard so far this season, you have had a snowier start to the season than Montréal.
And if your first trace or more snow was prior to the 13th, you recorded an earlier first snow, too.
It's called clown range for a reason.
