This was my biggest concern now for the past few days too. It's going to be a gong show! Not looking forward to that part of it!

Woke up to -14.9C here in East Abby near whatcom. Was a bit colder at the end of last year though, even thought that's hard to believe!

I like how the GFS has trended cooler after early next week. No lowland snow but way more Mountain snow. The GEM on the other hand...

How much snow can we expect out east you think?

It’s really hard to say how long the upper levels stay cold enough at this point. I like 5-10cm. But wouldn’t be surprised to 15cm

Last December's low was -15.7C and the wind chill low was -26.1C.

Yesterday's high was -10.8C and this morning's overnight low was -14.9C. Pretty crazy numbers lol

The GEM has a warm bias to counteract the GFS cold bias. Truth is probably somewhere in the middle.

I'm going to second this ask...Supposed to be flying out of YVR to toronto at 4pm tomorrow, potentially the ideal window...but maybe not
