And this is not terrain bleed either. Temperature remains below 0C during the snowfall. Too bad it's the GFS showing it. :bang: :wish:

I was getting a February 2018 vibe but that snowstorm at the end of the cold snap was pretty top tier for so late in the season.

Looks more akin to the late February 2011 event. Mostly dry with scattered flurries (tr-1cm) heading into the cold snap.

Late February 2018 event had a fairly dynamic arctic frontal passage with strong NE winds, flash freeze and heavy snow for a couple hours.

In my opinion, the best arctic frontal passages as of recent are February 3rd, 2019 and December 25th 2021.

Both featured strong NE winds, rapid temperature drop, and heavy snowfall. The snowiest of the two was by far the December 2021 event.

Then of course you have December 4th, 1956, which runs away with the victory by far. Rapid temperature drop with damaging Fraser outflow winds and heavy snow. Maybe I'll see a repeat of that one day but if so it will likely be in my dreams given our current climate.

Agreed Granddaddyp2233, hoping Knacks score someone decent in the draft as conciliation for this disaster we endured this season.
