Definitely getting some freezing rain now. Last night’s snow/ice pellet mix now has a crust on the surface.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Good for them, they deserve it. I'm so done with people in Vancouver who are so stupid and ignorant and don't listen to the warnings. Along with all the idiots who went driving without clearing the snow from their windows or even any part of their vehicles. Just yesterday I saw an asshat try to do a U-turn in the middle of the road but failed to see the snow had covered a cement curb. Boy that looked funny to see him get jammed up on that! I laughed directly at him as I drove by.

Oh God it's full on freezing rain now. When was the last time Western Metro had even 2 mm of ZR, let alone possibly 5?

Pathetic situation as usual, warm ass air always has to ruin it for us.
All we wanted was snow so we could up our snowfall count and then move into the freezing rain garbage and then into Nito's and Raindars sexual fantasy land of AR's and warm temps. F all that! Why is it too much to ask for a decent overrunning event? So pathetic.

Anyway, my temp is -5.8
DP: -8
Hum: 87%

A mix of Snow pellets & freezing drizzle (AKA freezing post anal drip)

Looks like 4Cm of ice pellets from last night and this morning. Could be more, I'll measure later.
We just had a decent week of snow and cold with one major snowfall that had -10C cold behind it. You rarely see that.

December 21, 2021? Or January 7, 2022? If not, maybe early February 2017?

Before that the only minor icing events I can recall was during late February 2011, and early January 2004.

Before any of those, definitely December 29, 1996.

How much freezing rain do you guys think we will end up with? In particular, this morning and early afternoon and how it will affect commuters. Thanks.
