Horrible area for a stevenson screen Corporal Goose may as well place it on cement the readings would be sky high from ground reflected heat.

It’s here! Rain from this system should be much more significant than the last one. And there’s more to come.

We already have more rain this evening than in the past 3 1/2 months. And it's still coming down! And lots fore on the way if EC is anything to go by, or their rain button got stuck.Rubus_Leucodermis wrote: ↑Sun Oct 23, 2022 8:41 pm It’s here! Re: October 2022 Forecast and Discussions
First frost this morning with a low in Sechelt of 2.2c at 8 am, high of 10.8c only 8 hours later and currently 6.7 and raining.
I felt bad about pulling out the beans yesterday but I wanted to put potatoes in. Now I'm glad I did, they wouldn't have survived the frost. Also harvested the yams and sweet potatoes, got a small haul from 5 plants.

I hope I'm still Ms Nofloodyetcreeks tomorrow morning. If this rain keeps up and it's just running off, the nonexistent creek may be a culvert washing torrent!SouthSardiswx wrote: ↑Sat Oct 22, 2022 8:00 pm El Nito, Ms Nofloodyetcreeks and pineapples as well for good luck.it's currently 6c @ the pond in south Sardis. Re: October 2022 Forecast and Discussions
I couldn't believe it when I read it either. talk about adding insult to injury. Though I do feel for all the people of Sechelt who will be paying taxes to cover the legal bills and settlements. At least I figure they're the ones that will be covering that, I'm not sure I Sechelt has insurance to pay for it???Forrest Gump wrote: ↑Thu Oct 20, 2022 11:34 am Now Sechelt is sueing the Seawatch owners?! After what they've gone thru and losing everything? How pathetic and cruel is that?

Smoke clearing out , I see blue sky.
Catching up on all the old news...my computer was under the weather and had a short stay at the repair shop at London Drugs. $50 later and they couldn't replicate it freezing so I brought it home and am back cruising the information highway!

Welp the good news is there's no snowfall in the mountains to melt and cause major flooding in the fraser valley.Roberts Creeker wrote: ↑Sun Oct 23, 2022 11:33 pm I hope I'm still Ms Nofloodyetcreeks tomorrow morning. I hope the culverts around the corner from me are ok, highways dept ran out of money to finish the job so they've been washing away in the minimal rain and creek flow. My distant neighbour said the propane truck driver got out and looked at it as he drove over and said he probably wouldn't be risking it again. My gravel road is full of potholes which will be nice swimming pools tomorrow.
