This is why I hate West Coast winters. You wait all year for possibly one cold snap, and maybe one day of snow, and that's our winter. Lol we are crazy people

Side note: A white Christmas in Toronto was a beautiful sight.

Such a sad winter lol. Basically no snow at sea level so far..no low snow levels either..basically no snowpack at 1000m as of Dec 26..models show mild/seasonal for the next ~2weeks...on and on.

I had high hopes for an extended ridgy period but this has been dashed.

January went from looking ridgy to now looking again mild and potentially very wet. It's time to accept the fact that the aleutian low is not going anywhere over the next few months.

Going to have to wait till end of Jan or Feb to see if we can somehow get any decent winter weather around here.
