Almost looks like time to gear up for another raging split flow season in the long range models.

Split flow wouldnt be too bad in November.
I was just kidding. Our historic winter is still on schedule. 4574 B.C. redux looking increasingly likely.

Mountain snow bonanza on the 12z GFS ensembles as 850mb temps remain below 0c Wednesday onwards.

Better to have the arctic blast(s) come in December and January anyhow. Lower sun angles, colder highs.

Not really a surprise that November probably won’t be snowy. It’s usually not.
It's called clown range for a reason.

I expecting nothing less than extreme cold and mass human extinction. Anything less would be a severe letdown.
