Check up on the weather after a few hours, and what do you know? It’s snowing! About 1 cm on the ground so far.

Looks like the WRF-GFS was the correct model for once!

Edit: at least a cm on the ground now, so I’ve cracked the 60 cm barrier for the season.

Yes,got sidetracked by the Ukraine situation, then a few minutes ago looked at my phone and saw snow symbols, I thought can't be,so looked outside ,sure enough everything white,snowing moderately.

Yeah,I think most of my snow totals are from night snow, not as much fun,takes the sail out of your winds.

Looks like I'm closing in on 2 cm, too. It is indeed sparkly and fluffy, much like the snow on Dec 30th. Doubt we'll see as much as then, however.
