Trends are definitely in our favour. Not to mention we are in a -ENSO/+QBO state with an ongoing SSW and a cooling pacific.

Would have been nice to see all this develop mid December or early January, but hey if its the last week of January or gosh even early February, I'll take it. We've done well in February as of recent.

l think John is just going middle ground here, the way this winter is gone l don't blame him.
