Lovely Ty my man, lots of off the beaten paths for a good bike ride in Mexico just don't do it perhaps in Tijuana.

:wtf: Wow, mini me minion l drove right through the heart of that mini beast on Highway 1 westbound l started seeing at least 3 flashes before the Vedder bridge towards Abby and then at least 4 huge flashes and heavy rain betwenn no. 3 rd and Clearbrook. we get nothing hardly all summer and then bang.
If this leads to an epic winter bring it on baby.

That was quite a storm! Very impressive lightning and some of the loudest thunder I've heard in years. Very heavy rain as well. 9.2 mm in just over 30 minutes with a peak rate of 187 mm/hr.

To my eyes the Canadian still looks chillier in the long run GEM and the GoofuS shows a chilly couple of day's next week.
And of course the non stop precip continues on all 3 models.

The storm cell completely missed the pond in south Sardis according to my stations rain bucket
It also shows the lightning was 13km to 18km away sounds about right based on my drive in to Abby during the height of the storm. It's currently 7c @ the only pond in south Sardis.

Puts those ensemble runs showing snow members in context, because it really doesn’t look like much of a snow pattern in the near future. Maybe a little slush on the ground (probably limited to hilltop areas) on the morning of the 2nd.
It's called clown range for a reason.
