14Z HRRR continues to show some storms moving through later this morning into early afternoon. It has actually shifted the track SE towards the Lower Mainland. We’ll see.

It looks like the area of heavy showers and storms is too far West to make it across the Strait. We'll see. The other line of storms and showers is stretching from south of Seattle into the eastern Fraser Valley. Most of Metro Vancouver is stuck in the middle getting nothing as usual.

It does appear that way. And that will probably be the most likely outcome. But, the HRRR does develop a secondary impulse that makes it way across the Strait around 10-11AM. It will probably be another nowcast scenario.

Tell em Bono!! Although the HRRR sounds like a great model, when it is correct 8-)

In theory it is supposed to do well in convective type setups. Who knows really. :dunno:

Watch for reports of water spouts today..imo a good chance we get at least one "somewhere out there, i know you're out there..." 8-)

My low was 20.7C, which is crazy for August. I can recall only a handful of other lows above 20C, all in June and July.

Thundering here. Started about 15 min ago, have had several long rumbles and now it's raining, big drops. Got soaked covering the wood pile.
