Gonna be a cold night!
Oh no! Do you have any space heaters to tide you over at least?

Thankfully it'll be replaced tomorrow.

It's caused plenty of trouble these past few years. To be expected though, since it's 20 years old.

Got a few running on and off on low power, otherwise the fuse will blow.

During the cold snap in Feb 2018 the furnace was acting up, set 4 heaters to max and the power blew within 10 minutes.

You know this might be a good sign. Our furnace broke the day before Dec 13, 2008.

  cue Nito with the NAM and Sunday night being basically dry.

BUT IT'S OKAY. As the saying goes...
When a forum member's furnace blows,
Then bundle up, here come the snows!

The 12km NAM is colder, but more suppressed on Monday. Thus drier too. The run to run changes are hilarious.

I have heard that it is laughable how jumpy the NAM is with low placement though, considering how short term it is.

Par for the course. I think consensus is impossible in this region. It's one reason why it's always so compelling.

It struggles when the low has yet to form, but is decent once that happens.

Electric blankets and an early night. Glad to hear you're getting it replaced tomorrow.

I know someone who turned the oven on high and left the oven door open, they claimed it helped. I notice even when I'm cooking in the oven, it does warm up my kitchen and that's with the door closed. Plus it probably won't trip the breaker.
