Burrrrr. Accidentally left a large window open and the sliding door to the patio near the hedgehog's cage last night. Fortunately, that didn't induce a hibernation attempt in the little guy.

High of 20.7 currently 13.7. Is it winter yet?? :lol:

The ECMWF Seasonal says we're going to be wetter than normal in October. Here's the map for SON.

Nws Seattle discussion mentioning potential record highs this weekend with strong offshore flow and thermal trough. Classic late summer heat wave pattern.

We are going to pay for all this hot and dry weather probably a very wet late fall early winter like last year

An absolutely picture-perfect day: a cool crisp night for easy sleeping, warming up nicely in the afternoon, but not so warm as to be uncomfortable. Rode my bike up the Seymour Valley to the dam and hatchery. You can tell it’s early September by how some pockets of very cool air lingered in the shadier spots into the afternoon.
