Could definitely use more snow on the hill tops for spring/summer run off.

looks like a cupla rain showers added some sporadic wet spots to the pavement since last night. No sign of any flakes or snow yet :wish:

Looking forward to next winter, even if we get a fairly strong El nino, can it be any worse than this winter? Considering how the previous winter we ended up with a really nice snowfall?
That could be a run of three really sad Winters in a row. Minus 7 Days of cold and somewhat snowy weather which is all we got for the last two Winters

SFU had slush last night. Overall theme this winter has been the airmass being 1-2C too warm with the fringe airmasses.

LOL, when will people learn? It is March, it is below 300 m, and I am around. As I keep saying, given those conditions, it can’t snow. It simply can’t.

I knew with absolute certainty it would not snow last night, and it didn’t. Easiest forecast ever.
It's called clown range for a reason.

But a lot of our winters really are one week of cold and snow, and that's it. So why is it surprising? We don't live in a climate that can sustain cold and snow (for the most part); we really get one chance, or bust, a lot of the time.

Easy there Rubes..you are working with a tiny sample size.
A lifetime of living here will tell you we have had many pumbling snow events in March, some of them heavy, with 15-20cms++
Tell em Nito!!

Well..for the areas that got basically no snow this winter..how does it get worse than that lol. Other than ~10 days, it was EN like most of the winter. Tell em again Nito 8-)
