I'm talking about the pinpointing of a conscious decision to stigmatize and divide. There's more than just the restrictions in this article and the MPs statement. In fact, as a Liberal MP he probably doesn't mind the restrictions all that much. Nor did I, when they made sense. Now they're all just arbitrary, but that's another issue entirely.

This is what I want to highlight as the hypocrisy and cynicism of the federal government, not the mandates or restrictions themselves:
"A decision was made to wedge, to divide and to stigmatize. I fear that this politicization of the pandemic risks undermining the public's trust in our public health institutions.”

When it comes to federal vs provincial jurisdiction, trust me, I am well aware. I've paid attention basically my whole life, briefly took political sciences, and have been politically active. I get that there are many out there who will blindly criticise Trudeau for anything under the sky. I am not one of those people.

He's done. Not sure why he continues to defy common sense and not comply and submit. But yeah, he should just comply. It will go much better for him.

Agreed. Great to see some common sense (it's in very short supply these days) by this member of the sitting federal government.

I saw a comment today from Dr. B H saying that Covid will be with us another year. fits in with her misleading comment from last year that Covid would wane with everyone getting vaxxed.
What a joke even following the so called science is in correct l've been out and about quite often so far without contracting Omni. :)

We can rail on against mainstream media, fine. But we can't do that and then promote the most watched news television network in the world. And Ben Shapiro is a hardcore right wing dude with many flaws that I won't go into. I'm honestly just wanting to have discussions that are not tainted by partisanship, etc. It will become Facebook/twitter 2.0. I think we can do better.
