I think the bigger issue is sticking to the ground. Snow is still common in March, the sun just doesn't allow it to stay. Unless we get a 1951 redux.

Yeah in March 1951 the Polar Vortex dropped down into SW BC with significant high latitude blocking. Highly unlikely this year.

Temp pumped up to 2c today so bailed on the sledding as it sadly started raining this PM. Soggy sledding sucks. Then weirdly enough the temps have dropped and bammmm back to heavy wet snow.
