Well it's been a weird week with cold battling and surviving. Usually when it changes to rain the fork is out. But the cold battles on! Switched back to a mix..but very wet
Can hear the melt occurring now tho. Must be just above 0c now here
Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++ 8-)

Yup it did drop to -4.8c when the snow started it's up to -3.5c now, I don't wish for freezing rain so I hope the transition is painless just rain plz, thought I'd never say that word but in this case yes. Yellow radar returns over Abby, Mission heading east northeast might clip Chilliwack northern sections, nope fizzling out.

No days off till Sunday, slept a bit enjoying the last snowfall for now. kinda looks like on radar this band will be winding down, the next band may be the kicker in the pants to scour the cold air out in the central valley.

I wouldn't go that far yet John. Western sections is all rain with maybe 1 to 2 cm of slush. Not sure he was accurate there but Its ok.
I'm sure Abby is close behind switch to zr for a bit then rain. Chilliwack may see a prolonged period of zr which may start with this next band soon. Better hope its snow tho

Eased off to a few flakes... no rain, snow still powdery. I estimate 6 cm new, will measure when it's light out.

Quick check out the window...raining. Just under 2 degrees and winds from the east. I didn't see any snow last night ( got up a few times to check) , but also don't seem to have gotten as much precipitation as I thought I would get. Still lots of snow on the ground, but the melt is on. Nothing to see...back to bed.

Well, it busted bad. Always such a disappointment for the metro area. Coming out of cold snaps we don't even get a huge overrunning event anymore. Oh well, we need a break from this now.

I had about 1 cm of snow last night.

Current: Light drizzle
Temp: -0.2
DP: -1

So close yet so far away.
