Watched that game on TV back in June. The pitch (in Honduras) was more akin to a swamp after several rounds of torrential tropical downpours.

Another Atmospheric River for Sunday. We need rain but we don't need lots at once. Hopefully the RGEM is overdoing totals as per usual.

Kristi Gordon mentioned this AR was a 1 or 2 cat.
I wish they would use that implemented scale for every event.

Still seeing brown grass around the area despite all rainfall recently. Must be too cool to spur a lot of new growth in a short amount of time.

Exactly Tgrass l was noticing that last night at the little grass area at my work.
Have we ever had a Halloween with summer looking grass. 🤔 l'll take a snap of the grass area at the pond tomorrow we just didn't have enough recovery time from when we usually get our rainy season and when the grass basically sleeps for the winter. If you notice the pic. I took of the owl at work have a look at how brown the grass is there. It looks like dirt but it's brown dead grass.

Could have been in 1986, 1987, or 2002. Not something I usually notice when summer has been over a long while.

Another 38 mm of rain today :o No wind though and no power outages, other than drivers who filled up at the local Shell station. They mixed either water or diesel in their gas and there were dead cars pulled off within a block of the station.

:wtf:  oh geesh Ms. Notdrycreeksnow.
That's a law suit waiting to happen that's absolutely insane.
I hope they all go after who ever owns Shell,
google say's Royal Dutch Shell based in the Hague, Netherlands nail them.
Sometimes l think about what if's in regards to gas being mixed. it's currently 9c @ the pond in south Sardis and the rsin at my work near Sumas is tapering off it appears.
