Everyone got what they wanted last Jan.

Lots of rain and snow.
Temps into mid teens and dipping into the minus teens.
Windstorms.
Blizzard.
+15C and sunshine.

True but that rain started getting pretty insane after a while. Pretty sure that month ended up well above average despite that one super cold week.

Yeah last January was very rainy. Besides the cold week, it was really just a continuation of the December shitfest. Not until February did some reasonable break in the rain occur. :sick:
It always snows in December in the Kootenays :clap:

From Komo for winds tmrw

Gusty southerly winds will accompany this storm, with blows of 30 to 50 mph possible near the Canadian border for Bellingham and the San Juans. While winds near Seattle should stay in the neighborhood of 30 to 35 mph, it will still be noticeably blustery. Highs will drop into the 50s for the metro area.

06Z is decent. There's no crazy cold, just a bit below normal which is perfectly fine for November.

Rain started just before 2am and I’m up to 28mm so far. Pretty heavy rates at times.
North end of Shawnigan Lake. Southern Vancouver island. 500ft

Environment & Climate Change Canada as of 5 PM PST, Monday 2nd
November 2020.

1. Summary of snow in cm:

Teslin Airport: 39
Whitehorse Airport: 47
Fraser: 22 reported at 7 am
Jade City: 23
Watson Lake Airport: 25
It's still snowing in Whitehorse. Also, it has been COLD there, with temps hovering around -15C since late on the 31st. They had a cold second half of October as well. :clap:

It shows 850mb temps stay below 0C after the next 2 days throughout the entire run on the 12Z GFS.
