I'll hand out the awards.
MVP: it's a tie Jr. & WP Jr. for trying to convice us an SWS will bring us an Arctic blast. And WP for as the blizzard turns. :snowballin:
Best dissappearing act: Skooks held the honour for afew years but this year Slytyguy takes the honour and actually really did disappear. :steam:
Most behaved animal: Several members were in the running. Hound, Flamingo kid , Catman, Bear Golden, Hawk but Flamingo kid takes it with his laid back approach this year l wonder how he did it. :w101:
Rising member: Bonorman and Pornoman were neck and neck but Bonorman just couldn't keep it up. Pornoman takes the award l guess elevation does really help.
Most informative award goes to John in how to start a debate and cause a war, co stars T3 and Mr. Kells.
Best comedian: Gumpy kept us in stitches all winter, goes to show may as well laugh or cry over his snowfall total.
Honorable mention goes to El Nito for throwing us pineapples all winter. :evilpine:
All in all another fine winter with many good and bad outcomes. Props to all the members that contributed this winter.
Why thank you, thank you very much little buddy. Hi, my name is Forrest Gump , people call me Forrest Gump. My momma always said Go west young man, where the air is clean and the water is plentiful , so I did. One day it started raining, and it didn’t quit for four months. We been through every kind of rain there is. Little bitty stingin’ rain, big ol’ fat rain, rain that flew in sideways.Shoot, it rains so much there that they even have a river in the sky . But if you only wanted one type of rain you had to travel to a small town called Abbotsford. I was sitting at a bench one day speaking with a weather nerd, he was speaking in a language I wasn't familiar with,he said I should go on this particular website ,he said I would learn all about moisture, precipitation, humidity, low pressure, high pressure, warm fronts, frontal systems, onshore flow, isolated showers, rising temperatures, and model riding. Well,I may not be a smart man but somehow I knew it was a very bad website, so I told myself Run Forrest Run! I heard Vancouver was home of the Canooeks, so i went to De Dutch restaurant and they didn't disappoint, unlike the canucks. In the summer I went to the pne and saw a ride called the pineapple express. I read a sign that said temporarily closed, weather permitting. I asked ,why is it closed, it's sunny out! The worker, named Nito, said it's only open when it's raining. Fortunately I only had to wait a few minutes.

I couldn't have done it without my teammates. There were a lot of good laughs this past winter,to be honest I was quite impressed ,most were able to raise their game in the humour dept , except for that one night where I had to give Sardineman the hook after a member tossed a couple of tomatoes and demanded a refund.

Two more awards ,Sardineman is still the Joey Chestnut heavyweight champion for most posts in under 60 seconds. And barring a last minute miracle by yours truly looks like he'll also hang on to the Vitog Over the Hill Where's my Depends Winter Classic Championship.

Yeah I had expected steadier rain with higher totals today. Models showed 10-20 mm but I only received 3.8 mm. Bust.

Some showers popping up pretty quickly on the radar. The clouds look dark. Maybe some localized downpours.

Happy Easter! Some pictures of this year's fast lambs out playing in the sunshine.

Had a few very brief showers of hail.

We had some mixed rain and snow in Surrey today.

Pictures from flashback to April 21, 2008 in Nanaimo.

Yeah definitely a variety of weather today. Was sunny in the morning, saw snow falling on the mountains that worked it’s way to my house. Wet snow when we left and went to sunny tsawwassen. Saw the packed Centenniel Beach and turned right around. Anyway lots of sweeping puffy dark clouds in the distance. Beautiful sunset now.
Burnaby Mountain @ 365 m..

Stats? Fresh out of those. But I win anyway. I got all the inches.
