This could not be worse. Thousands of lightning strikes in a tinder dry province at the very start of summer with not a drop of rain in sight.

We need to go back into a state of emergency again...
Rumors are circulating that there could be fatalities up there.

Mark Madryga this morning said that we won't see these extreme hot temperatures again in our lifetime, then back peddled a bit and said his lifetime.

There should have been a state of emergency declared for the heatwave itself quite frankly.

This is piece of equipment is headed to the fire near Lillooet.
Unfortunately with the canyon closed they have to go through Whistler/Pemberton.
The operator was telling me half of Lytton is destroyed it's bad he said.

Some mets were also saying the smoke in 2015 from Siberia was a rare occurance. Then we saw some in 2016, more smoke in 2017, a lot more in 2018....2020 and now 2021.
This is all happening before our very eyes. I spent my childhood not needing air conditoners and air purifiers but now my 2 kids need them!

It can only be a fluke so many times. Eventually it isn’t and then it’s too late. Seems to be the reality we are headed for.
