July 2021 Forecasts And Discussions
My oh my can July top what June just did? IMO no,
I would be happy with just a normal July.
I'm done with the heat for this summer.

Looking forward to an average July with weekly precip. A repeat of last year would be awesome!

Re: July 2021 Forecasts And Discussions
There's really not much difference from this summer to last, restrictions wise. No mask mandate and inter-provincial travel was encouraged last summer, just like this summer.Sardisbcwx wrote: ↑Tue Jun 29, 2021 9:40 pm Didn't matter stuck in pandemic made last summer suck, looks like things are improving come July 1st. state emergency will be lifted hard to believe.

That's true T3, it's just different this year, last year they were expecting a 2nd wave by fall which materialized this year we are coming out if it hopefully no more big spikes in Covid.

Re: July 2021 Forecasts And Discussions
What will the Fraser Canyon be like when the border reopens and I can finally visit it again? One of my favorite towns in it is already mostly gone, it seems. If conditions are right (or should I say wrong), I could easily see that fire spreading as far as Hells Gate. That would put my friend’s cabin in Boston Bar inside the burn zone. Thankfully, winds are blowing the wrong way for that to happen… for now.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Re: July 2021 Forecasts And Discussions
This year is a total write off to go into the interior of BC. There is little rain up expected up there the next two weeks and much of the greenery has turned brown or died. There's way too much fuel up there. This is going to be a really bad fire season so I would just save the inconvenience of having to evacuate at a moments notice.Rubus_Leucodermis wrote: ↑Thu Jul 01, 2021 7:50 am What will the Fraser Canyon be like when the border reopens and I can finally visit it again?
