Have to say it’s been a fair bit windier than I expected. That said when I went down to Kensington it was merely a breeze. Came back up the mountain and it was a solid stiff wind. Wonder if elevation and or proximity to Burrard inlet is making a difference in my case.
That said it is often breezy up here when calm elsewhere.

Anthead how does Cranbrook do with regards to outflow winds? I remember driving through that valley thinking the winds must absolutely howl down through there, but it's more of a N to S valley isn't it.?

Seen some intense thunderstorms off the coast today. There was one cell SW of Astoria that was a borderline supercell (with circulation within).
