That's definitely a rarity Tfog, l cant recall a forecast that had that amount forecasted for the GTA, l remember the big snows back in the mid 90's that was huge didn't they call in the military for snow removal help that was absolutely insane that winter l remember the media coverage on that one.

January 1999. IIRC... Toronto picked up about 100-120cm of snow in two weeks.

Just as a comparison, Vancouver picked up a similar amount of snow in approximately four days in January 1971. And of course some places surrounding Victoria also picked up a similar amount of snow in just two or three days in December 1996.
