Re: May 2022 Forecasts and Discussions
Based on the hourly reports from YVR, today’s max was about 9.9°C. About a degree cooler in my neighbourhood.
Probably did briefly edge into the double digits at YVR, but still looks good for a record low daily max.

It's called clown range for a reason.

Re: May 2022 Forecasts and Discussions
Whew, that was close. For a few minutes it looked as if the sun might break through and give me a run at 10ËšC here.
Back to rain, now with small hail, and down to 6.7ËšC already.

Definitely don't need a 10c reading in May Rubes, it might ruin our spring.Rubus_Leucodermis wrote: ↑Thu May 12, 2022 7:24 pm Whew, that was close. For a few minutes it looked as if the sun might break through and give me a run at 10ËšC here.

Re: May 2022 Forecasts and Discussions
I imagine El Nito is none too happy about this absolutely bone chilly spring.
It's a chilly plus 7c and showery at the pond in south Sardis a nice night for sitting in front of the fire place we don't have so the furnace works.

Possible hook just north of Deroche, according to latest radar imagery.

I've been enjoying my woodstove these past few days. Saw some photos of snow on Vancouver Island, might have been Gold River??? I can't remember now.SouthSardiswx wrote: ↑Thu May 12, 2022 8:20 pm I imagine El Nito is none too happy about this absolutely bone chilly spring.

Re: May 2022 Forecasts and Discussions
Rained most of the day, heavy at times. Had a family come to pick up their lambs and as they backed their truck up to the barn I could see a wave of water squishing out of the ground ahead of their tires. Totally insane between the amount of rain and the cold temp.
No outside photos today but I have turkeys hatching, love their b&w colouring. They'll be solid black when mature.
