I wasn't sure if it was safe to go outside today, the sky was a weird colour, blue, and there was this big bright object in it.

What a beautiful day. Went to the beach at low tide with a friend who's an expert in sea life and saw some neat things including this little baby flounder (or sole).

Windy at the beach and my power went off today. It wasn't that windy.

Sechelt had a high of 13.7c but the sun warmed my house up nicely. :D

Sounds like you saw a light bulb Ms. Alwayscloudycreeks, it doesn't take much sun to feel warm this time of year with light winds.
Amazing shot of those prehistoric birds. :shifty:

At least the weekend looks dry and mostly sunny. EC says we may see our first 20’s of the year next week.

Low of 5.1°C here.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Anyone else notice that the hottest place in the province is often one of the coldest. And also the coldest is often one of the hottest.

Here are a couple of examples...

Looks like a few thunderstorms forming around the Lower Mainland. Hope one drifts over my way!
Other than that, a very much needed glorious day outside and more to come the next few days. FINALLY. Usually by now I've been seeing butterflies around for almost a month and so far I've only seen ONE. The next few days should bring everything out though.

EC forecast is looking kinda ridgy the next several days with lots of 20+c for the valley
MAYDAY MAYDAY! We need some warm sunny weather this month. Some showers mixed in would be good too

More like ufo's🛸 to me Ms. Aliencreeks.
Instability in the central valley appears to be waning now. I saw some nice TCU/CB anvil shape over Mt. Woodside earlier this evening was driving couldn't stop and get a shot.
