Awesome shots Bones, actually visibility in the central valley was decent this evening.
It hasn't been too bad through this somewhat over done heat hump. Sitting at 20c @ the pond in south Sardis its actually refreshing this evening.

Cman, long time no see thought you had vanished like our summer in Jupril.
Only to appear again like the raging Keremeos Creek fire. Perhaps the bone dry GFS is a skeleton💀 outlier.

My outdoor pool with no heater is at 29 degrees. It's never been that warm any other summer. Even still, it offered the best option to cool down even a little bit. The humidity is what's making this wayyyyy worse because I normally can handle heat pretty well but I admit even I've been way too hot the last several days.

Cause warming global temperatures and a thinning ozone layer translates to planet earth becoming a crock pot.

What's impressive with this heatwave is the number of consecutive days without any cloud cover in the Lower Mainland. There were scattered high cloud earlier this week, but it didn't obscure the sun in whole or in part.
