100% humidity and no mention of fog or mist is another clue.
Maybe they turned the sprinkler on?

Perfect day here 23.9c in Sechelt and 24.6c here. This is what summer should be imo.

Surface waters temps are running warm. Almost 23C right now and 20C in the Georgia Strait. Leads to higher DP at all hours since there's no temp contrast to lower the air temp or DP values.

May be stuck with higher humidex values until we see a lengthy cold spell.

It's 100% wrong. The air mass is much drier today and the dew point is still reading 19.1C at YVR. That would be considered high for them even during a heat wave. All other stations in the area have dew points between 14C and 17C right now.

The flow is onshore now, so inland areas would also be seeing those high dew points - but they're not.

Also, I was at the airport last Monday and I even remarked that it didn't feel as humid as it supposedly was.

They are correlated, of course. All other things being equal, higher outdoor Tmin ⇒ higher indoor Tmin.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Yesterday I noticed that the dew point in white rock/south surrey was reading higher than most other areas including the valley, about 20 vs 15. Today white rock down to 15 ,in line with others, except Vancouver still showing 19°.

I wonder if all this heat broke the stations. Sechelt is not giving any readings tonight as of 6 pm.

22.7c still 26.3 inside. Wednesday has a high of 18c gotta go find all my winter gear and pile the blankets back on the bed.

I felt a nip
Only for a moment, and the moment's gone
Just one breeze
Pass before my eyes, a curiosity

Chill in the wind
I just felt a nip in the wind
