The pre-1990 climactic norms for Vancouver would sure be nice.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Mine would be snowy Dec 1 to Jan 15..no rain. H-2 L-8
Jan 15 to April 1 showery mix... sun clouds H6 L0
April 2 -Sept 15 a mix of sun and clouds H17 L8
Sept 15 to Nov 30 who cares..prolly rainy and mild

Those temps noted would be the averages
Of course it could easily be 18c and bommy during this strong EN, but instead March starts out troffy and chilly!  Bring on some 18c sunny days

Do we guess what city that is? I'd bet it's somewhere in the Great Plains.

I'm guessing skipper Grumps would pick any place that puts him over the top year after year for the elusive snow contest cup that we can't afford.

I actually just made it up, since there was no city I could find that matched what I would prefer.

Fall: Mostly crisp days with temps between +10C to +15C. Cloudy days with light rain or drizzle are ok too
Winter: +0 to +5C with lots of sunshine. Snow is ok when I have time off.
Spring: Usual Vancouver spring weather
Summer: High teens or low 20s with sunshine. Rain is ok once or twice a week.

Impressive chart!! What program did you use?

My ideal weather. Great idea Typers, really had to think about it and still ended up pretty vague.

Summer - h 22 - 25 one short (3 day) heatwave a summer, no hotter than 30c, rain at least once a week, preferably at night with the occasional rainy day tossed in
Fall - 14 hours of daylight (if we're wishing for weather why not), good mix of rain and sun, a thunderstorm or two, a windstorm
Winter - snow from December to end of Jan, falls and melts in a day or two with a couple of good blizzards 20 - 30 cm where it sticks around for a week. One deep freeze - 5 to -8 the rest just below 0 so it snows.
Spring - a nice mix of weather, sun and rain, couple of storms, nothing extreme

Wikipedia weatherbox! All you gotta do is edit a random city/town page that has a weatherbox and fill in the sections you want to (ex. Average high/average low/extreme low/average precip/etc). When you're done, click "preview" and then take a screenshot. Just don't click save edits and publish, otherwise it'll update the page.

I'll take the following

Spring: unstable, could snow early, could t-storm, could be sunny
Summer: dry, mild, constant sea breeze
Autumn: dry, cool, no frost until late
Winter: very active, very wet, varying between thaws and deep cold snaps
2023-24 season stats:
