Silence on here when a snow event is upcoming and then the models flop, tells me too many posters put too much stock into the models. They fail often. Maybe they will 180 last minute to mostly/all snow. Or they are off and we get all snow. I recall a few times the S winds never materialized. We will see.
When there is a future, there is always hope

By far the snowiest UKMET so far. This was the most conservative model when it came to snow.

GFS caved to the other models, which warmed us up to mostly a mix precip event next few days aka slop festival. I don't have access to any of the models other than GFS so I'm just going by what other people have posted and mentioned.

The snow to rain changeover was always the most likely thing. Doesn't take away from the fact a snowstorm is coming.

Exactly. We are hoping for no transition which may or may not happen.

That's never been the most likely option. So definitely not a rug pull IMO. just people being defensive and not wanting to be let down.

Let down. Even if we get 5 cm. it's a win. Plenty of winter left.

Unfortunately, If you want to see some impressive snow fall accumulation, this is the game we need to play.
