The Sunday stuff looks really borderline (onshore flow, thickness between 522 and 528 -- i.e. mixed precip/slush/cold rain <~200m) but this would be snow right down to sea level.

A lot of it is marginal up until that point, yes. I’ll be keen to look at the sounding data in WxBell as we get closer to the event if it stays in play.

Usually on my way home from work @ 5a.m. l catch Mark Madryga on CKNW if he's on board l get a tad more excited we'll find out this week Houndhind it's currently 5c @ the pond in south Sardis on this 1st day of Snovember.

Hmmm...Interesting Hounder usually East Whack man get's double the pond considering he's up the hillside that doesn't look outrageous but certainly interesting indeed. l'm prepared just in case.

Hello November! Looking forward to SNOW!!!

Was looking for something Halloween and it was already Christmas on W network. Guess it's one way to get a snow fix...

Help! Ms. Christmascreeks!, skipper locked me out of Snovember probably wants a head start on his always suspect snowfall totals.

Second of all...snow?!!!
We just had forest fires two weeks ago, LOL.

What's the earliest significant snowfall for Vancouver and Abbotsford? Let's say, earliest snowfall over 5 cm on the ground? And then 10 cm? Anyone know how I can find this out relatively easily?

Hi Mrs. Bugs wonderful seeing you back. l'm thinking Nov 1st, 1984 for both Abbs & Van at least 5cm for both,
Typie would know fo r10cm my guess is November 85 later that month just going off memory.
