I don't know. Personally, I don't really revel in others misery. I feel for the guy. Just my opinion.

I should qualify that thought:VanCitySouth wrote: ↑Tue Feb 28, 2023 5:20 pm I'm not gonna lie, I see no evidence for any accumulating snow in Metro Vancouver with this one except for up at Pomoman's place. This screams cold rain below 250m to me. I think EC is knee-jerking to a misfire (today) again.
Unless snow cover depresses temperatures more than expected tonight and it remains below model forecasts tomorrow night.

It is clearing out quite nicely here at the moment, this could be quite the chilly night as the map PK posted alludes to.

He lives in arguably one of the more hostile environments for snow and he already got snow on the weekend and back in November and December.
My sympathy is reserved for the people living on the streets that have to endure the cold.

To each their own, mate. I just don't take joy in others missing out, been on that side many times in terms of the weather. It sucks. Anyway, enough of that, back to our weather...wetcoast91 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 28, 2023 5:45 pm He lives in arguably one of the more hostile environments for snow and he already got snow on the weekend and back in November and December.

Aloft will support snow initially due to some evaporative cooling but the onshore flow turns it to rain pretty quickly below 500m. Maybe 2-5cm above 100m.

Re: February 2023 Forecasts And Discussions
You think snow level starts at 100 m? I'm still seriously doubting anything below 250 m personally. I guess we'll see.wetcoast91 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 28, 2023 5:49 pm Aloft will support snow initially due to some evaporative cooling but the onshore flow turns it to rain pretty quickly below 500m. Down to 0.7c, this definitely has the potential to over perform in terms of lows tonight.

Re: February 2023 Forecasts And Discussions
I can't feel bad for a guy who hypes up every winter to be 1950.. He sets himself up for disappointment when the models are literally showing no such thing. It's different if a huge dump is expected and the rug pull happens, Sure I'd feel bad. It's just why set yourself up for this year in and year our? Then swear and call people out when they are simply saying " I don't see that in the models"
Honestly reminds me of a child.
