May 2023 Forecasts And Discussions

Post by stuffradio »

With the high heat this lat weekend of April and May being forecast to be a warmer than normal month from the CFS monthly, will we break our first 30C in May or have our first heatwave of the year this month?

EC says 27°C IMBY Saturday. Abby or the ’Wack might well break 30 if that happens.

Autumn? Spring? Pfft, who needs ’em? Just lurch from summer to winter and back!
It's called clown range for a reason.

That’d be alright, we gotta get that showery June to prevent an early fire season. We’re still at a large rainfall deficit from the dry October to February.

May the 4th be with all my forum friends on the 1st as well as on the 4th.
Looking forward to Junuary as well as Christmas in July on the W network. :wtf: showers in the central valley this afternoon and a pleasant 13c or so at the pond in south Sardis.

I feel like we are due for a widespread thunderstorm event. When was the last one? The closest I can think of in recent memory was 2009 and...I think maybe 2013? By widespread I mean entire Lower Mainland seeing some action and not one and done boomers.
