As of now, it's probably clear of the 1962 windstorm in terms of anomalies over the course of the historical record.

With that said, the 1962 windstorm and the 1893 cold snap are the only two single events recorded that probably come close to the equivalent of the 2021 heatwave in terms of anomalies.

Campfire ban is back. It was removed for a few days which seemed odd with only ~ 2 cm of rain since early May but it's back for the long weekend!

Hmmm...Strange Ms. Weirdcreeks perhaps water restrictions next which will still be in place at Christmas time. :wtf: :o it reached a high of 28c @ the pond in south Sardis, its currently 19c.

Hopefully it's short lived. EC now showing high of 29c for Sechelt for Wed/Thur. It keeps moving off, I'd be happy if it's like that end of the forecast snowfall that never happens. :lol:
