No doubt. Wouldn't surprise me to see another major arctic blast next winter if we go into a La Niña/+QBO. At the very least, the ski hills should be fine assuming El Niño falls apart as most climate models are currently suggesting. Still far out but solid chance La Niña returns next winter.

Yeah, I was worried we we were screwing up the globe. Now I can get back to idling my Toyota Tundra in the driveway and pointlessly drive around the place.

65.9°C in Keg Creek, AB.

Canadian all-time record is 70.2°C in Snag in Feb. 1947.

By the way, 21.1°C in Maple Creek today.

In 1 week, we will probably start seeing daylight peak out at close to 7am. Sunrise will be roughly 7:30 AM by next Friday and I notice daylight roughly 20 minutes before sunrise.

Yep it’ll all go back to normal after El Niño, just like how it was normal during the La Niña of 2021 for example.
