I wonder how many times one has to be reminded about clown range as if they are posting maps for the first time in their life. It’s not like we don’t know. Thanks for the “education” I guess.

Just something I wonder about sometimes. :silent:

Anyway, it’s probably going to snow this month. That’s cool.

Ya, I feel I need to post the :14clown: disclaimer to avoid being told that.

I think some below normal temps or even normal at this point will be welcomed by many. Snow would be a bonus!

Well....happy New Year to all of you!

Here's my 'prediction':

Before the end of the week we'll get a visit from Weatherpro.

I'm getting slightly excited here after this lack of winter so far!

The GEM brings the bulk of the cold to Alberta but the GFS continues to be bitter in the long range.

Either way, when it's bitter cold, you can't really go outside, so if it's slightly warmer then we can possibly have higher chances at snow.

6z GFS also features some pretty low snow levels as of this weekend with a few cold systems moving through next week. Shows a good chance for some accumulating snow especially overnight and at higher levels.

He’s very pineoptimistic about the pineapples.
It's called clown range for a reason.

GEM looks very snowy at first glance… but about half of it appears to be phantom snow.

12Z GFS has brought the pineapples back to the table for Oregon! :dancepine:  :dancepine:

I expect Tim to start gloating about this.
