I'll never be as good as Gumps with these but here goes.
Searching for a stanley cup :D
I want to live
I don't want to spend
I've been a sucker
For a stanley cup
If these past seasons are any reasons
I'll never spend
Keep me searching for a stanley cup
And l'm getting old.

Game was a disgrace, farce, and whatever else you want to call it last night. Classic CONCACAF, classic away game in Central America, but it still sucks to lose under such circumstances (notably the pitch conditions and the referee but also the fans).

Correction to the title as pointed out in the comments: "It was stated they were not banging on the refs door, but towards the fans post game. The ref was awful, and the fans were childish so I get it. Glad to see the players show SOME emotion. I know the field was trash, but should have gotten a better result."

Why is the officiating so poor in the CONCACAF?

Honestly... no idea. It just is what it is, people come to expect it.

Especially in the away games in central america, where a ton of other factors are stacked against you too.

Crazy. You'd think that federations like Canada and the US wouldn't put up with it, but my knowledge of soccer is quite limited, so it is probably like you said. Multiple factors.

We just got "CONCACAF'd" (yes, that's actually a term). That's how infamous games are in our confederation (especially those that take place in central america)

Also, a good point made here:

What an absolutely insane joke, should have refused to play under those conditions. Tball.

World cup groups with all 32 teams included now that the Euro playoff match (Wales v Ukraine) and both intercontinental playoff matches (Australia v Peru // Costa Rica v New Zealand) have concluded.

Toronto, Vancouver selected among host cities for 2026 World Cup
https://www.cbc.ca/sports/soccer/soccer ... -1.6490914
Vancouver's B.C. Place and Toronto's BMO Field will host games during the 2026 World Cup, FIFA announced on Thursday.

The tournament will take place across Canada, the U.S. and Mexico. The other Canadian city in the running was Edmonton, which fell short in its bid to be named.

"We advocated fiercely, we had our provincial and federal government partners on board to provide funding, and most of all, we had the support of Edmontonians," Edmonton Mayor Amarjeet Sohi wrote in a statement.

In addition to Toronto and Vancouver, 11 American regions and three Mexican sites were selected.

The American cities of Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Kansas City, Dallas, Atlanta, Houston, Boston, Philadelphia, Miami, New York/New Jersey, and Mexico City, Monterrey and Guadalajara in Mexico will get games in the expanded 48-game tournament.

Montreal dropped out of Canada's bid last August after the Quebec provincial government withdrew its support, citing cost overruns that would have been difficult to justify to taxpayers.

B.C. Place hosted nine games during the 2015 Women's World Cup, including the final, which drew more than 50,000 fans, and Toronto hosted the Pan American Games in 2019.

Both B.C. Place and BMO Field will require upgrades ahead of the 2026 World Cup, with Vancouver set to install a grass playing surface and Toronto expected to expand the stadium's capacity to the FIFA minimum of 40,000.

Time for a never accurate but always interesting poll question: Should Knuckles trade JT Miller and or Brock Boeser?
I'll vote yes for Miller this is his last year on his contract my guess is a step back year.
Take chance coming off another stellar year he'll be 30 next season.
