No longer in operation, but they have just a cheap household thermometer inside the Stevenson Screen, but no ECCC thermometers. Paint is flaking off really bad. I should have taken a picture of the inside.
Probably cheaper for ECCC to just leave it be there than take it away.

Whistler is far too close to the trees. Lillooet is good for temperature, but I see no anemometer and no proper gauge for measure winter precipitation like we see here...

Far too close to the trees... and the road. Moreover, the Stevenson screen is in very bad condition. Actually, there are 2 stations in Whistler: WAE operated by NAVCAN and VOC operated by ECCC. You can see the small shelter on the right of my last photo above.
